Dan Beard Scoutcraft Shelter

The heart of Scouting lies in the classes taught in here. Our Scoutcraft program teaches many of the skills that Baden Powell originally drafted in his "Guide to Scouting" and "Scouting for Boys." He believed that a scout should be able to survive on his own and in the wilderness and never be lost or unprepared for any situation that he might face. Here at Camp Buck Toms, we agree. Our Scoutcraft program offers everything that a scout will need to live up to the demands of the outdoor scouting environment and to always “Be Prepared” in the wilderness.
